INSPIRING LEADERSHIP
The LTA offers support to colleagues looking to develop their leadership capacities in learning and teaching.
PATHWAYS TO SENIOR AND PRINCIPAL FELLOWSHIP
The LTA supports staff across the University to attain professional recognition through Advance HE. This recognises professional standing in relation to the UK Professional Standards Framework. The LTA supports staff to make applications for all levels of Fellowship.
This includes a dedicated Inspiring Leadership in Learning and Teaching programme, open to those who are working towards Senior and Principal Fellowship. This enables participants to re ect
on their practice with a community of peers, consider the impact of their work, and identify their aspirations and development priorities for the next stage of their careers.
The LTA welcomes expressions of interest from colleagues wishing to work on speci c projects or workstreams. Such opportunities could be designed to develop experience in leading institution-wide learning and teaching interventions and/or to provide space to develop and share practice in a speci c area of strategic signi cance to the University.
The LTA facilitates institutional engagement and action across a wide spectrum of enhancement initiatives, including the QAA Scotland Enhancement Themes and University strategic projects.
A programme of webinars, workshops and seminars is available across all our campus locations. These encourage discussion of the latest research and practice in learning and teaching. School and campus-speci c events are also organised to meet the speci c needs of distinct contexts.
The LTA also organises an annual institution-wide Learning and Teaching Day.
